What is ProgressBook?

This year Westlake Schools has acquired a program called ProgressBook. 
The reason we are moving to this tool is to make the tasks of recording and reporting grades easier and more effective.

This program is an online electronic gradebook that is connected to LEECA, the organization that maintains school data for the state.  Teachers enter grades and assignments which are available for parents and students to view at any time using the Internet.  Essentially, that  means that quarterly progress reports are a thing of the past.  Now... every day is progress report day.

The purpose of this tutorial is to familiarize parents and students with ProgressBook and how to make use of its useful features.
